Yesterday we spent a glorious day at the beach. We got off the ship early and checked ourselves into the Moana Surfrider hotel so we could have access to a beautiful beach and enjoy their pool. The Moana Surfrider is one of the historic grand hotels on Waikiki Beach. Our room was ready so we quickly got into our swim suits and were on the beach by 9:30a. We enjoyed umbrella drinks and lunch from our loungers. What could be better? Marsh enjoyed watching the constant stream of commercial and Navy flights that were just off shore. The sun was hazy so it didn’t get too hot. Perfection!
We used our room to shower and change for drinks and dinner at The Beachhouse at Moana Surfrider. Our Hawaiian fusion meals of fish and spare ribs were delicious. On the way back to the ship, we stopped at Long’s drug store. Marsh sat with the cab driver (and our stuff) while I popped in to pick up some additional supplies. We both got on the ship with colds so we’re eating through our congestion supplies quickly. We were back on the ship by 9:30pm, with sail away at 11:00pm.

We stayed at the Marriott Resort for our honeymoon! So glad you had a relaxing day with sun and fun. Well done! PS: Marsh was still upright, so I guess three drinks for him! Sharona… I counted fingers from both hands, but no toes …
We understand the importance of umbrella drinks! Waikiki….amidst all the hustle and bustle, never disappoints watching the sun set over Diamond Head! We have so many wonderful memories of this island and locale….
