Sunday Funday
One of the things that we enjoyed on the World Cruise was the Sunday Brunch and today they introduced it on the Circle Pacific journey. We started with a nice mimosa and enjoyed looking at the beautiful displays of breads, cheeses, sweets, fruits and salads. There were salmon and roast beef, pastas and quiche.
In the afternoon, we met up with a new friend, Andy Swimmer and his wife Sherri, from Cumming, GA. Andy also writes a travel blog, https://longcruises.wordpress.com, and is the inspiration for mageesonthego.com. I’ve been following his blog since 2022 when he and Sherri were preparing to take their own around the world trip in 2023. I’ve wanted to meet him for a long time and today we got a chance to visit and talk about life, travel and our blogs.
Afterwards, we listened to the ship’s band play big band and swing music in the Wheelhouse. It was a fun day at sea.
