Malaga, Spain
They met us in town, we wondered about the old city and found the oldest bar in Spain, Antigua Casa de Guardia, which serves its wine straight from the barrels. This is the narrowest bar we’ve ever been in and the crowds were thick. We didn’t particularly like the wine, but the atmosphere was something to experience. After lunch at Benditos in the old city, we headed back to the ship.
Malaga has a new harborside that is super nice to walk. They built it to facilitate cruise ship guests to easily walk from the port to town. It works! They’ve lined it with restaurants and shops, and just the people watching is amazing, especially the fancy yachts parked along the promenade.

Malaga's new cruise terminal. There were two ships in port today, ours and Mein Shiff.
Of course, they provide plenty of opportunities to do last minute shopping before returning to the ship.
