Unpacked and Unbothered
We’ve spent the last two days unpacking, getting the cabin organized, orienting to the ship and getting into our groove. The weather outside is cloudy and chilly, as we make our way across the Pacific. We’re not complaining as we know much of the US is bracing for a historic winter storm.
Our cabin is in pretty good shape, as we brought aboard all of the organizers we used during the 2024 World Cruise. They help keep all of our stuff corralled and make living in this small space more comfortable. Our shoes are in a heap at the bottom of the closet, so we’ve purchased a hanging shoe rack from Amazon that we will pick up while in Honolulu.
Princess gave us some nice swag yesterday, which was very much appreciated. We spent a little time getting Marshall some Circle Pacific logo wear from the ship store and Sharon got a Coral Princess magnet for the collection.
The vibe on the ship is quiet and reserved, which is probably due to the weather. Everyone is going about their business; attending lectures, exercising, reading in cozy nooks and relaxing. We took a nice dip in the jacuzzi and met a young couple from Alaska who are on the ship until Auckland. They both work in the tourism industry and have their winter’s off, so they travel the world. We enjoyed their company.
We are on day three of five sea days and enjoying the pace.
Tomorrow: Sea Day

Our swag: pad of paper and pencil, a bookmark, a luggage tag, a tote, a ducky and an umbrella.
A replica of the Coral Princess for our wall of magnets.
Enjoy! What is your luggage brand of choice?
Hi Megan – we are currently using Travel Pro luggage and have been very happy with they are holding up, We think the key is to get luggage that has reinforced corners. -S
