This will be our final post of this sea journey and we would like to end by highlighting the people that have made the trip so great.

We’ll start with our waitstaff in the Aurora main dining room. Each night we were taken care of by Jonathan and Godwin. They are both warm, skilled and flawlessly juggle serving 20+ people with each seating. The dining room manager, Dominic, ran a tight ship with a gentle and steady hand. He was a problem solver and worked hard to insure all of his guests had a great dining experience.

The waitstaff in the Wheelhouse were Samson and Ivan. Those two hustled like nobody’s business and worked together beautifully. They were friendly, funny, kind and remembered what we like to drink.

The Sommeliers on the ship were Radu, Sidney, Matteo and Bajon. We enjoyed participating in scheduled wine tastings, and also impromptu tastings at dining table 75. They were incredibly knowledgeable, forthcoming and generous with their time.

We managed not to capture a photo with Paula our Cabin Steward but we’d like to acknowledge her friendly spirit, her work ethic and her ability to sense that we needed something, often before we knew it ourselves.

Captain Arma was a dream captain. His announcements were so informative, thoughtful and funny. We loved his sign off “please enjoy the beautiful AND friendly, Star Princess.”

Last but certainly not least, Daniela, who helped us with so many arrangements and reservations. She is smart, savvy and works so hard to assure every guest is having a great experience. We sailed with Daniela on the ’24 World Cruise and have grown quite fond of her.

There are so many people to thank and we hope they all know how special they are. Please enjoy the montage of our favorite peeps!

Tomorrow: Travel home to Dublin, OH
