Lazy day in Tossa.
We must report we did nearly nothing today. We had nothing planned, and we thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of that. After only one day in Tossa, our plans to do a daily drive to a neighboring city are out the door. This is a magical little town and we really don’t want to leave it.
We so enjoyed watching the little beach next to us come alive. The lounge chairs are put out. The awnings on the beach huts are put up. The fishermen take their boats out. And the ferry started making runs to the neighboring towns. This ferry is unique as it just runs up on the beach, let’s down a gang plank, people come and go, and then they go in reverse out the channel. There’s no dock! Crazy!
We had dinner out at a restaurant in our block called Bellos. The service was great and the pizzas were yummy. We had a couple pitchers of sangria. It was a fun night!
Tomorrow: More Tossa

The beach in early morning, before the activity starts.
Looking the other direction, in early morning.
There's the ferry, just run up on the beach.
We started with red sangria...
...then we switched to cava sangria.
Peter's pie -- bacon, sausage and zucchini.
Sharon's pie - olives, anchovies, sausage, red pepper and onion.
Marshall's pie - ham, sausage, and mushrooms.
Sharon's creme brûlée.
Marshall's chocolate mousse.
Peter's pistachio cheese cake.
We may or may not have talked the restaurant into letting us take a pitcher back to our flat.
The limoncello's were complimentary from the restaurant. Nice!
Sangria…YUMMY!
Looks like a nice relaxing day. The pizzas look yummy 😋
