As previously mentioned, our goal was always to use our luggage space for clothes, shoes and other necessities, and not waste space/weight on toiletries and medical supplies that we could purchase once we landed in LA. So today we spent a couple hours at the local Target, stocking up. We got some good Sudafed DM from “behind the counter” as well as other supplies for colds, flu, stomach ailments, injuries and allergies. We also purchased a small room fan, a cheapo scale, toiletries, Tide pods, sunscreen, bug spray, a small bottle of Dawn, plastic sandwich bags and some protein bars.

 Our shopping loot filled two small duffle bags. Easy, peasy.
